Virtual Fireplace is a new Macintosh program the shows a fire on your computer in a nice fireplace. I made this so all the Mac community could have such a pleasure.
1. How do I use Virtual Fireplace?
To use Virtual Fireplace, simply open the program, select the theme and music you want, and click the OK button. Click the mouse to quit.
2. How can I expand my fire experience?
You can find additional themes and music online, or make your own! It's very easy... Simply open a duplicate of one of the existing themes, and copy and paste your own pictures from an outside graphics program.
3. This is all well and good, but what can I use this do-dad for?
Glad you asked! Don't you think it would be nice if you could have an attractive fire on your Mac's screen during the holidays, or at a party? Impress your friends with your own themes! Use it as a snazzy screensaver!
4. What would possibly possess you to make such an irrelevant program?
Well, I saw a Compaq notebook commercial, and it ran a very bad version of a program something like this, and I thought the Mac community deserved such a thing.
5. I found a bug! What am I to do!

Well, that's it! Everything is pretty easy! This is freeware! You don't have to pay anything to use it, but don't say you made it, and don't copy it! If you want to include it on a CD or disk package, be my guest, just include all the standard themes and this read me.
Possible Problem
1. When I enable the fire sounds, I get, Error In Music! Why?
This is because the fire sounds music file has been renamed, moved, or deleted. Reinstall Virtual Fireplace, or correctly name the file Fire Sounds.
2. Some of my themes don't work, how come?
My program is buggy that way. Try to make the themes like the ones included, anything different might make the program screwy!
3. When I just hit OK on the settings window, it says that the theme or the music couldn't be loaded. Why?
This is because between the last time you loaded and set up Virtual Fireplace, you moved the selected themes or music files. Perhaps deleted or renamed them. Reselect them, or another, and proceed.
